It's Great To Be A Northside Eagle!

The NorthsideEagles.com site is owned, operated and managed by me. I do it because I want to, not because I have to.

My Mission

Is to provide the graduates of Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia that don't want to join Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and other social networks. Most of the networks, groups, and lists that I maintain are permission based. What that means is, you have to request, and get permission to join. At the time of this writing, Facebook isn't like that, but it will be soon.

Why Permission Based?

Because, just like you... I'm tired of being inundated with stuff. Things that don't matter. If you want to eat a hamburger. Gee. Good for you. I'm proud you can do that. I just don't care to hear about it. UNLESS you're cooking that hamburger on the edge of the Grand Canyon and you want to share your view as well.

I'm also not a fan of people on networks who really aren't people. They are just accounts being created to spam the group. I'm in the process of shutting that down. It's also the reason the approval process is needed.

Why Google+

Because the permission based Communities, when attached to PAGES creates a very secure and safe environment. It's not indexed like Facebook. You're not broadcasting your business everywhere

Why Now?

I've changed my business model. I'm focused on providing this level of service to businesses that want and need it. These groups allow me to improve my chops!

I Could Use Some Help

Would you like to help with NorthsideEagles.com ? It's easy. Just send an email letting us know what you'd like to help with, and we'll get back to you. This is a large project, and can be time consuming. It would be great to get some the Northside Eagle Fans involved in helping Some of the things that you may be able to help us with are listed below. .

Add calendar events to the Google Calendar. Add events for things like: Drama, Debate, Band, Art, Music, Track, Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Wresting, and Swimming. And you're not limited to this list. We will support any and all activities involving the Northside Eagles. If you'd like to just manage your club, sport, or particular interest... that can be done!
Help manage, promote and create the Google+ Page . We have the tools to help you do this. It is easy. It is not a steep learning curve. If you see an article, or would like to write one for this page, it can be easily done. Want to tell someone how fantastic your Northside Grad is? Tell it here. The nice thing about it is that it can be completely protected from prying eyes.
Take pictures of the events and just .. well.. publish them to the site. It's very easily done. We are open to everyone publishing their pictures. So if you like to learn how to Add Photos - and allow others to add Photos too
Learn how to manage Google Hangouts If you don't know what they are, take a minute to watch the video. This is a great way to stay in touch with your friends from school, or even study together.
Tweet the scores. You've heard about twitter, or you already know what it is. Either way, learning how to manage the tweets and keeping them fresh is a great way to help us. We already have registered hashtags for most of the categories. It will be easy. How would you like to go to the game AND get paid for it! Would that be great or what?
We can setup the ability for you to find articles about school, sports, and other topics that will make it easy for you to post relative information to the site.
Social Marketing Specialist - put together the plan on how to promote, use, and support this site through the community. Get GOING!!!!
Business and Project Manager - we need someone to manage the overall aspects of this project. this means documentation and helping determine the next direction we should be moving in to sustain this project FOREVER!
