Charles H. Jones Family Foundation Presidential - As a member of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, Charles H. Jones was passionate about improving access to public higher education throughout Georgia and committed to playing a very positive role in restructuring facilities and fiscal management in the University System. The scholarship was established by Charles H. Jones and the Charles H. Jones Family Foundation to provide an annual award to a high achieving entering freshman pursuing a baccalaureate degree at Macon State. The scholarship is renewable for three years if the student maintains at least a 3.25 GPA and satisfactory progress toward graduation.
